Youth Lock-In

Our next lock-in is scheduled for Fri-Sat, May 15-16, 2026

Lock-In Policies

1. Don’t Leave the Building
-Doors are locked from the outside so you can exit in an emergency but when you try to get back it will be locked.
-If you leave the building without permission your parent will be called to come and get you.

2. Sign In/Out
-Youth must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian/designated adult. Due to safety precautions, youth who attend the lock-in are not permitted to drive themselves after the lock-in. Everyone is expected to help clean up before they leave.

3. Church Property
-Do not purposefully hit the sound boards with balls because they crumble. Keep balls off of walls as much as possible to protect the paint and be aware of cameras to avoid damage.
-Everyone is expected to place trash in the trash bins and be respectful of church property.

4. Phone Policy
-It is recommend to leave cell phones at home. The church phone will be available at all times for outgoing and incoming calls. Cell phones are permitted but must be kept in your personal bag or in the phone pockets in the kitchen. They should never be out or seen at all. If you want to take photos or make a call you must get permission from a chaperone and they must stay with you while you use the phone. If a chaperone spots a phone it will be confiscated and placed in a phone pocket in the kitchen. The church phone number is (740) 679-2365.

5. Foul Language Policy
-No bad words and no taking the name of the Lord in vain. We understand this is habit for some, but it is disrespectful to our Lord and will not be accepted.

6. Girls/Boys Sleeping Rooms Policy
-There are designated rooms for girls and boys sleeping. No mixed genders are allowed for any reason. Chaperones will also follow this unless there is clearance.
-No hanging out or phone time in these rooms, they are for sleeping and resting.
All hanging out must be done in the main areas.

7. PDA (public display of affection) Policy
-No hand holding, hugging, kissing, affectionate touching is permitted.

8. Be Kind
-This is a safe place. We are here to have fun and feel the peace and joy of the Lord. No bullying, teasing or leaving someone out. Make a new friend today!

Overnight/Off Campus Events Policy

• Participants will have access to a telephone or cell phone when groups are at or away from the church facility.
 • For overnight events at the church and church-sponsored off-premise activities, two or more screened adults must be present. This arrangement must include at least one male and one female if the group is mixed gender.

Whenever KC transports children, youth, or other vulnerable people away from the church campus:
 • No youth should drive to/from events.
 • An adult should never transport a child/youth/other vulnerable person alone.
• Drivers of church vehicles should be approved and covered by the church’s insurance company.

It is the policy of KC not to administer either prescription or non-prescription medications to the children under our care, unless prior written consent is given by the child’s guardian. Exceptions to the medications policy may be granted in an emergency.
